My educational background includes undergraduate work at Kent State University, a BS from Houghton College in Houghton, NY, graduate work at Marquette University, an MA from University of Wisconsin, post graduate work at the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville and Spalding Universtiy. 

My teaching philosophy is  student-centered.  Diagnose the student, teach to the students' strengths, and engage the students in the learning process every day in every class.

My interests outside of school are reading, writing, photography, travel and horses.
