Teaching

As Baccalaureate Librarian, I work with the College of Technology & Management  and the College of Education programs.   I also work with the Paralegal and Business Technologies programs. I spend the majority of time teaching research methods,  developing tutorials to help online students, and doing reference with students and faculty.  Please do not hesitate to contact me by email or phone for questions about research.

 Biography

I have had the opportunity to study and work in several different countries and various geographic areas.  After graduation from college, I spent a year doing work-study in London, England.  There I worked part time as a children's nanny, and attended classes at the London City Literary Institute.

After returning to the U.S., I earned my school library certification and teaching license in New York state and then a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science at USF, Tampa.  I have worked in school, public and academic libraries in New York state, Canada and Florida and served in various professional organizations.    I joined St. Petersburg College and became a full-time faculty member in 1994.

Travel

My family and I have visited or lived in Canada, the Caribbean and Bahrain because of my husband's business travel.  I enjoy exploring different countries, and learning about their cultures and antiquities.
