  Biography:

Heather Spilman, MBA, brings with her 15 years of experience in the dental and medical field.  Heather’s solid business background coupled with her experiences give her unprecedented insight on how to balance ethical emotion with wisdom in the business world.
 
Spilman has also personally experienced many of the common dental transitions, from associateships to family workings dynamics. She has an innovative mind and is gifted at strategic planning. 
 
Five years as a professional cheerleader taught her how to appreciate different backgrounds, morals and values.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel College and her Masters of Business Administration, concentrating in Ethics, from the University of Notre Dame. Currently, she is working on her PhD at Barry University. Heather is also a Board Member at St. Cecelia School. 
  
Heather sponsors an endowment scholarship of "Alturism" at her undergrad alma mater, Bethel College. She believes that being atruistic is at the heart of Ethics. She truly enjoys teaching this subject. You will find her teaching style democratic and conducive for interpersonal reflection and change.
