  Biography:

Marse Walsh has taught writing, English as a Second Language, and college success skills for St. Petersburg College since 1998. In 2004, she became the Curriculum Coordinator for the Title III Grant, a five-year, federally-funded program to assist the college with student success. Marse is also the Co-Advisor for Colleges against Cancer, a college club affiliated with the American Cancer Society to raise both funds for and awareness of cancer issues in the community. She holds a B.A. in Sociology/Psychology; a B.S. in Special Education; an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, plus an additional eighteen hours at the graduate level in English literature. Marse is originally from Connecticut but has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1983. She is the proud mother of one daughter, McCarron, who is currently working on a degree in International Business at SPC.
