I earned my J.D. from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.  I practiced law for approximately 10 years, and then decided to switch the main focus of my career to teaching.  I teach various levels of Economics and Government, and I also teach Applied Ethics here at SPC.  I love teaching, and hope to engage each and every student in active thinking and discussions regarding all aspects of Ethics. 

**  Textbook Information**  This course requires the purchase of the following textbook: Goree, Keith, Manias, Nicholas & Till, Jane (2009), Ethics Applied, Edition 6.0, New York: Pearson (ISBN 10: 0-588-05454-4) Previous editions of Ethics Applied cannot be used for the course. Soon, a pre-graduation assessment is planned on being instituted – students will have to have knowledge of the critical thinking model that is taught in our course – this model is only in the 6.0 version.
