My educational background is a B.S. in nursing from the University of Texas and juris doctorate from Stetson University College of Law.  I worked as an R.N. for ten years and then practiced law in the area of civil litigation for 20 years in St. Petersburg. For the last 2 years I have worked for the Florida Bar Association in lawyer regulation, prosecuting lawyers for ethical violations. I have been teaching as an adjunct at SPC for 2 ½ years.
