Graduated from SPC's Human Services Program and went on to get a BA in Human Development at Eckerd College through the PEL program.  Received a Masters in Arts degree at the University of South Florida in the Counselor Education program.  Certified  as an Addiction Professional (CAP) in 1988, and licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in 1997.  30 years experience in the field of social services, and an adjunct instructor at SPC on and off since 1988.  CurrentIy have a full time private counseling practice in Largo.  I believe learning is a natural and necessary part of personal and professional growth.  In the classroom I try to foster an environment in which participants can come away with practical ways to use what they learn.
