DUANE A. DAIKER is a partner in the appellate and commercial litigation practice groups in the Tampa, Florida office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. His principal areas of practice are appellate representation and commercial litigation. Mr. Daiker is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Appellate Practice Specialist.

Mr. Daiker represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of commercial litigation and appellate matters. Mr. Daiker has extensive experience in appellate practice in state and federal court. He also represents sureties in connection with payment, performance, and fiduciary bonds.

Mr. Daiker serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College, teaching classes in legal research and writing and paralegal skills.

While at the University of Florida, Mr. Daiker was the Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Daiker has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers® magazine.

Mr. Daiker is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as an Arbitrator and Circuit Court Mediator.

Mr. Daiker is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the 10th and 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County (FL) and American Bar Associations, and is a member of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA, and the TIPS Fidelity and Surety Law Committee. Currently, Mr. Daiker is the Co-Chair of the Appellate Practice Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
