Teaching philosophy:

I'm convinced that lifelong learning is the key to a healthy and happy life.  I believe that everyone has the potential to learn and better themselves through education.  By embracing diversity, encouraging challenging conversations and new ideas, and questioning our assumptions we can open our minds to new knowledge and understanding and make meaningful contributions to the world around us.

I enjoy the outdoors: boating, fishing, camping, and the beach.  I'm always experimenting with new recipes and having fun cooking.  I find reading very relaxing and I usually have a good book close at hand.
