Mr. Lawhead earned the undergraduated degree from Cedarville University, Cedarville OH and the graduate degree in Choral Conducting from USF in Tampa.

As a college student, Mr. Lawhead won first place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Contest, Berea, OH.  He returned to his alma mater in Ohio to perform the Bass role in MESSIAH and also performed it locally at Clearwater Christian College.  Most recently, Mr. Lawhead performed the role of Melchoir in our own, SPC production of Amahl and The Night Visitors.

Mr. Lawhead enjoys leading and participating in the music at his church.  He also enjoys travel, hiking, biking, kayaking and most other outdoor activities.
