  Biography:

Man is still the most extraordinary computer of all.
(John F Kennedy)

Your visiting this page indicates that you are contemplating increasing your skills and employability - a very challenging event - in anyone's life.  Everywhere we go, everything we do involves computers.  Technology will not stand still and we must grow with it.

I encourage students to explore the concepts of how technology works and how to make it work for them.  My teaching philosophy begins with challenging students to take charge of their learning in order to obtain the results they desire.  I find the ever-changing characteristics of technology exciting and they offer a world of rewards.  My job is to assist students as they embark and journey through technology courses and develop the skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.

I received my BA from Jersey City State Teachers College.  I also have a Graduate Certificate in Web Design and a Masters in Instruction Technology from the University of Florida. In addition to numerous software application and industry certifications, I am a certified Master Instructor for Microsoft Office User Specialist and a Certified Internet Site Design Master Instructor.

Having spent many years teaching technology - from hardware to software, web design to programming and applications to multimedia - in Corporate America, and as a full time professor at St. Petersburg College, my goal is to help each and every one of my students obtain the skills required to achieve their goals.
