My professional memberships include the American Dental Hygienists' Association, including state and local affiliates; the American Dental Education Association; the American Association of University Professors; the Florida Association of Community Colleges and the Florida Allied Dental Educators Association. Outside the classroom my interests are spending time with family & friends, cooking, traveling, reading, and gardening.

My teaching philosophy: I believe that education must be meaningful and relevant to the student in order to have success. We should all strive to do our best and have fun at the same time!
