  Biography:

Li-Lee Tunceren has been teaching  for nearly 30 years. A native of Maine, she earned her B.A. in English and Education from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and then her M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Columbia University in New York City. She served in the Peace Corps for four years in West Africa; taught future English teachers at Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey, as a Fulbright scholar; headed an Intensive English Program at a private high school in Turkey; and taught ESL at Boston University and Northeastern University before arriving in Florida in 1990. "Mrs. T." loves the electronic environment for communication, teaching, and learning and particularly enjoys teaching online and blended classes.  She is currently at work on her Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology (that's SLAIT for short) at the University of South Florida and teaching a variety of ESL and developmental reading and writing courses at St. Pete College.
