Born and raised in the DC area, my later life was spent overseas, mostly in Greece. I've been in the Tampa Bay area since early 2002. I have a BA in Studio Art from the University of Maryland, half of an MA in Painting from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MA and Advanced Diploma in Conservation of Cultural Properties from New York University, Institute of Fine Arts. In addition to teaching Drawing at St Petersburg College, I teach Art Appreciation at Hillsborough Community College. I have been working mostly as a professional artist and a web designer.
