I have a Ph.D. in Statistics and have taught for many years at SPC and other colleges/universities in Florida and Pennsylvania.  I have previously worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry conducting clinical trials of human and animal drug products.  Prior to returning to full-time teaching in 2008, I was the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness for SPC.

My teaching philosophy focuses on active and collaborative learning; students learn by doing.  Face-to-face classes include group activities where students work together to master concepts. 

My interests include my husband, my pets - 2 cats and 2 dogs, keeping fit,  travel,  water sports, cooking and reading.
