Dr. Jonathan Steele is the Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts at St. Petersburg College. He holds a Ph.D. in the College Teaching of Music from The University of Florida, a M.M. in Music Theory from The University of South Florida and a BA in Biblical Literature from Clearwater Christian College. Before his appointment to Dean, he was the Program Director for Humanities and Fine Arts at the St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus from 1993 until the summer of 2008. In addition to serving as the administrator for the College’s music program, he served as the Director of the SPC College Band from 1991 to 2006 and Director of Clearwater Community Band from 1995 to 2000.
