  Biography:

My education began in the south suburbs of Chicago at Moraine Valley Community College. From there, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Political Science from University of St. Francis. My legal education was obtained through the John Marshall Law School in Chicago where I received my Juris Doctor and my Master of Laws in Employee Benefits. I began my legal career with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration. As a benefits advisor, I was able to assist and enforce federal compliance with laws that encompass health and pension plans. After my relocation to Florida, I moved onto the private sector working with major corporate health plans. I supervised investigators and paralegals in investigation of health claims. In addition to the practice of law, I also tutor students for LSAT, law school, and bar exam purposes. Now here at SPC, I am excited to bring the practical legal knowledge I have obtained and pass it on to my students. My love of teaching began while watching my mother teach for Moraine Valley. I saw the distinct difference that was made in every student that she taught. I hope to make that same difference in every student at SPC as well. My husband, Tom, and I live in Seminole with our three daughters, Ashley, Lily, and Aubrey and our cat, Teagan.
