Other Repository Highlights

There are other excellent learning object repositories that allow you
to search and use objects uploaded by faculty from all over the world.
This page will provide you with highlights from three of the most comprehensive
repositories, MERLOT, WISC, and CAREO.
Each month the educational Technology Department will highlight objects
from each of these repositories. You will also be able to view the highlighted
months that are archived.
Follow the links below to search
each of these repositories:
- MERLOT is
a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students
of higher education. Links to online learning materials are collected
here along with annotations such as peer reviews and assignments.
- WISC (Wisconsin
Online Resource Center is a digital library of Web-based learning resources
called "learning objects." The digital library of objects is
developed by faculty from the Wisconsin Technical Colleges and produced
by multimedia technicians who create the learning objects for the online
environment.
